Purpose

This policy explains how photos and videos are taken and used during our workshops, and how we protect children’s privacy and safety.

 

By checking the "I agree" box, you (the Parent/Carer) authorise Joey Medical School and its associated entities to:

• Usage:

  • Photos and videos may be used for sharing updates with parents/guardians and promotional purposes, including our website, social media and flyers

  • We will not use images for any other purpose without additional consent.

 

• Opt-Out Management:

  • Children without consent will not be photographed or filmed.

  • Staff will be informed of any children who are not to be included.

  • Reasonable steps will be taken to ensure these children are excluded from images.

 

• Storage and Security:

  • Photos and videos are stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel.

  • Images are retained only as long as necessary for the stated purpose.

 

• Ownership & Rights:

  • You acknowledge that Joey Medical School owns all copyright in this footage.

 

 

• Privacy & Safety:

  • We do not publish children’s full names with images and avoid sharing identifiable details.

  • Images are selected carefully to ensure they are respectful and appropriate.

  • Where possible, we use group or activity-based photos rather than close-ups.

  • All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.

 

• Withdrawal:

  • This consent remains valid unless withdrawn in writing via email to info@joeymedicalschool.com.au.
